Demos
When I was a teenager I used to do demo coding. Demos are real time non-interactive multimedia art created by programming. As a demo coder my alias, sort of stage name, was Schwartz.
Here is a couple of intros (kind of a small demo) that did well in the Assembly demo competition.
Fractals
Fractals is a four kilobyte intro, that contains among other thins a real time fractal zoom, that works even on a computer with a 386 processor.
- FRACTALS.TXT - a text file about Fractals.
- fractals.zip - the intro itself as a zip archive.
Fractals placed fourth in Assembly'94 four kilobyte intro compo.
Animate!
Animate! is a four kilobyte intro, that contains textured three dimensional butterflies and a Gouraud shaded rotating vase.
- ANIMATE.TXT - a text file about Animate!
- animate.zip - the intro itself as a zip archive.
Animate! won the Assembly'95 four kilobyte intro compo.
